You choose someone to go first, then they have to pick a positive number less than 50, click it and it will start a chain. Then the other person has to choose a multiple of that number or a factor.

I start with my times tables I know the best which are my 5s, 2s, 9s and 10s to find multiples because I'm better at finding multiples rather than factors.
We got very stuck on 72 because we had used all of its factors and all its multiples are over one hundred.
These are number trees. The number trees helped me with my factors, because when you use number trees they basically break numbers down. The reason that helps me is because making factors is basically just break numbers down into smaller numbers which is what number trees do for you.
My dad and I made this chain. It was our longest chain yet!Â
I just made a new longest chain with my mom!
